For , his daring Captain Satellite and Shelly Ericson, now in ACEO form!
I really wanted to make these two work together as a single picture, but also stand separately. I'm really pleased with the result on the composition and, oddly enough, Shelly's hair. So shiny!
I keep forgetting this was your first "puzzle" set, so I'm glad I could help you in experimenting by offering up such an inseparable pair! You really did a great job of making them match and yet keeping them independent. Not always an easy compositional task!
I love that you chose to draw Major City, since I didn't specifically request it, and tied them together through its backdrop. I love that you drew Cap's belt buckle freehand. I love all the detail you put into Shelly. I love that both of them are distinct personalities in tiny card form.
It was! I was intending to make the Sailor Moon cards a puzzle set too, but I ended up drawing them spread out over a couple of weeks, so I forgot to coordinate that. Ah well.
As soon as you asked for them I knew I wanted Major City in the background. It's such a neat skyline that you devised, so it's hard to resist drawing it.
I'm so glad you love it all! I loved drawing all those little parts--especially the wee little details.
Oh wow... That's a really brilliant idea! Huge props to for the incisive, brilliant idea. You also gave the pair a really strong, assertive stance against a background that's both grand and gritty. It's A+ comic book cover material, and a marvelous, inseparable ACEO pair to be sure!

Basically, I just love it all.
