No problem! Speaking of if you draw it, they will come, you could also put a little note on your pieces saying that you take commissions. :)

Well, on conventions I admit I'm wholly ignorant (I've never gone) aside from knowing that you can purchase a table on the convention's website. Depending on the size of the convention you have to do it a certain amount of time in advance.

As for commissions, all I've really done is just said "Hi, I take commissions." Just keep a notice to that effect on your main journal/front page, perhaps linking to samples and a pricelist, kinda like an alacarte menu. ;)
